Did they release the results of post mortem carried out on the two swans which died in Lancashire, if it is bad news we might lose a big percentage of our swan population when the knee jerk politicians get on to DEFRA.
Are the black swans as openly stubborn as their white cousins tapping boat hulls with their beaks at first light to order breakfast. I hate seeing people on boats feeding them, they come to expect it from all boats when it happens.
Do you have any shots of the blacks around boats, I don't remember ever seeing a black swan to be honest.
There is a Black Swan at the farm where we keep our ponies If no one posts one I will take a photo. I don't profess it will be as good as a photo taken by our esteemed Lakesailor.
There is a blck swan on the Cam @ Cambridge, always near the canoe hut at Fen Causeway. Originally it was with the geese flock, but now generally accepted by the Mute swans and with them. Much smaller than Mutes.
I blush at your comments. However if you look at the original post it was taken by my mate.

Here is a photo of the Black Swan I said I would get. It may not be to the quality of the originator of this topic I do not profess to be a Photographer.
