Announced on the Westcountry news this morning that the MOD are trialing GPS signal jamming equipment on the North coast of Cornwall on Thursday the 7th and Friday the 8th of June.
Will the navy be responsible if an accident occurs, or a life is lost due to an ambulance gets lost.
Ambulances in Cornwall cover a huge area and local knowledge cannot be relied on.
An MOD spokesman said all the emergency services which might use the systems have been informed and if an emergency is under way, the MOD can suspend the trial.
Could be a good day to stay off the roads down there then - given the reliance on Sat Nav by so many haulage companies and delivery firms...........................
