Can anyone help? the new boat is fitted with a Streamline ST400 GPS and a Autohelm Bidata Speed/log does anyone have manuals or at least know of a web-site where I can download them, the shallow alarm is set to 1ft and considering my draft is 3ft 5" its a bit out!

I Take it the boat is new to you, and not new, new, as the ST400 GPS is no longer made. I have the ST400 and the manual, which is a spiral bound A5, so not the easiest to give a nice copy. I can give you their number for the development company who designed it ( 0208-241-8272). They will probably sell you a proper manual. If it proves too dear then PM me & I will try & copy for you.
As regards your log, it may not be wrong. I think it can be set such that the bottom of your boat is zero ft, ie a 3ft 5" offset, & thus 1 ft would be under that so your shallow alarm would be 4' 5". I may have a manual for that, but not sure which model number you have, or in fact which one I have.

All the Raymarine manuals can be downloaded from their website, so the bi-data is no problem.
