Got to be the way to go?

UK real life figures. Mind you - there is no attempt to find the optimal mpg - just readings of rpm & comsumption
Got to say, that is impressive. The modern engine monitoring instruments make the steam ones on our S34 look so yesteryear. I saw. Beneteau GT35 coming out of Haulover on YouTube with a couple of 250hp outboards on the back. That would do me fine, but obviously US market only.

I think Cigarette make a 60ft with six 600hp outboards, I very much doubt the owner even thinks about running costs.....20230210_110852.jpg

How many marinas in the U.K. still have petrol available? If not presumably they will still have the tanks that could be recommissioned. Currently petrol is around 20p/litre less than diesel at the forecourt pumps, so would probably be no more than marina diesel with its 60/40 split. I have to say, if we had the money, a new 36’ outboard powered boat would be high on my list. Meantime, I have to say I love our S34’s AD41’s with their non electronic simplicity.
The marina where I keep my boat does have petrol but its expensive , around £2 / litre I think. The big issue is lack of availability of petrol at the waterside elsewhere which makes longer trips impossible.
Smaller river boats are fine with petrol of course .

Sealine offer the C335V or S335V
