Are the big pins holding the blades on a 2 blade GORI directional or can they be removed either side. I’ve removed the set screws only had 1 per side but cannot remove the big pins.
Any help appreciated.

On my 2 blade folding Gori, the pins are stamped '1' and '2' and are not interchangeable. Can't remember how the pins came out last time but suspect they might have needed a help out with a punch.

On mine as well they pins are numbered 1 - 2 but there was only 1 set screw in each hole - unless the set screws heads are filled with Loctite and can’t be turned. The big pins will not move with a punch and hammer. Could be because they’ve been on for 40 Yrs.
I may just reseal and live with the slight play of the propeller on the shaft.

Thanks. I am but I think the first set are embedded with Loctite and covering the head of the set screw. I need to remove the loctite any ideas how or will heat melt it ?

Most loctites fail with moderate heat, some green and reds need it a bit hotter.

Propane should achieve it!

I use a sharp point to hook out the crud from the Allen socket head of the grub screws. Once you can work the key to the bottom they generally surrender.
