Just aquired a Roybi Multitool(early Xmas present), the 2 blades provided are rubbish, they'd have difficulty cutting butter!

Lots of blades show up on a google search, but I find it hard to tell whether they are any good, and this is the first Multitool I've owned,so I have no experience of what blades are good and bad.

Can anyone recommend a good quality blade for cutting 3/8" (10mm) marine ply?

Like your Roybi, my Aldi multi-tool came with rubbish attachments.

I bought Faithfull ones from my local tool merchant and they have been fine. At the time there was an offer for a "set" of attachments. I got some I didn't want but it was still the cheapest way at the time to get the ones I did want.

I was looking for blades for my Lidl version which I bought as came with a battery to also fit a Lidl jigsaw I already had. I haven't replaced blades as yet but saw reference to Saxon blades but gather it takes the Bosch ones. I wonder if a look at Axminister tools website might be of help as I sourced some micro jigsaw blades from them following comments from others on this forum. Do keep us posted on your choices as I doubt the Lidl blades supplied will last long .

+1 for Saxon blades, they even do a caulking removal tool/blade at far less than Fein. The Saxon Blades one seems to perform well. My supplier of choice is Saxon Blades

As for the general multitool cutters the ones supplied by Rutlands are OK though from my experience the tips do tend to snap off the ends occasionally maybe due to the "japanese style cut"

Do not take any notice of the ratings as Rutlands do not post any review with less than 5*
