Good news for petrolhead MoBoers...

After the difficult period, its good to see things sounding positive once more. The American boating manufacturers appeared to be hit the worst.......or was that not the case?

No doubt soaring re-sale values on existing pre-loved Fountains.....;)

Surely it was particularly for performance boats, which in the US used to be bought mostly by those peeps who were immediately affected by the financial meltdown (jobs lost, etc.). Not sure for how long the improvement will last, though...

Anyway, hat down to professor Reggie for the lesson he taught to Oxford Investments... Leaving them in his wake, so to speak! :D

I was pretty sure the Fountain brand would have never gone fully down...

The problem with the US builders from what I read between the lines is that if they have demand for 10000 boats in a year, they will go on and try to deliver this sort of numbers.
I think European builders on the other hand work with a strict production plan, and stick to it in most cases. That can make a huge difference, in a down turn.

A further update here.
What will Bahrain use 2 dozens of 42' ultrafast interceptors for, I wonder?
"Like the James Bond boat, but better". Typical of da man.... :D
