I had the lucky misfortune to beat to windward in a W60 Tokio for 9 days, 3 of those at F8-10. For a downwind boat it still made good progress, however the motion and noise was unbelievable.

There have been 93 boats pull out to date and 3 sticks down. There will be some good stories at QAB at the finish!

I was close to doing it last minute but had i not have done cowes week both on the water and in the bar then i may have given it some serious thought. as it happens im looking out of the window on wootton Creek seeing horizontal rain and a slight swell.

That sounds logical. Shame really. I thought someone had put a canal through Chesil Beach which would make visiting the West Country a bit easier! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
