Good Boat Exterior Cleaner Needed

Can anyone recommend a good boat exterior cleaner in the Ipswich area? Although I mostly do it myself, my usual chap seems to have gone AWOL and i'm not going to have time time to do it myself in the spring. Habebty needs a good deep clean this time.

Even paying someone to do the bloody engine this week!!! Also having the saildrive gaiter replaced as it has reached 7 years old this summer. Seems like only yesterday I was bringing her back new from Southampton !

We tried two local firms of marine valeters for when we were out in May. I don't think either of them fancied the job and so we ended up doing it ourselves.
It was a lot of work on a hull of our size - especially as we coated it after cleaning and polishing.
Actually, it wasn't as much work for me as SWMBO did most of it!
It's not really a skilled job so you might find someone willing to take it on if you supply the products.
Just ask the yard to leave you well away from the area where they clean down boats (near the hoist). I know a couple of boat owners who had their work in cleaning doubled by dirty spray.

We were told that our marina for one, were charging him(Jamie) so much,He could no longer afford to carry on,Never used him myself and only hearsay.

I think most marinas charge outside subcontractors a daily fee as they are often competing with their own services. Some charge a cheaper annual one.
