Whilst this forum can sometimes sound like an episode of "grumpy old men" I'd have to say I'm going to miss it for the next 6 months.

I'm currently doing my last day's real work before I head off to the alps to ski for the season. The whole season!

I'm somewhat excited now.

Bet that you won't be able to resist a trip to an Internet cafe or two. Are you teaching or there for pleasure?

Personally, I've never seen the attraction of strapping lumps of wood of your feet and throwing yourself down a hill but I suppose there's plenty of gluwien to make up for it.

I'm going to be a ski rep. You know, pick people up from airport, take them to hotel, take them to ski shop, give them lift pass, take them to doctors.......

It's just the 24 hour transfer days that I'm not looking forward to.

I've got a couple of trips planned to Courcheval and Chamonix, so here's to a good winter. Bring on the snow.

<hr width=100% size=1>Just enjoy it.
