I've always kept the ship´s clock on GMT for several reasons - it means that I don't forget when looking at tide tables, being idle I don't have to fiddle with the clock and I hate the politicians who want to play god and control our lives.
On the non boaty side this week it is dark once again when I take my dogs out at 7am.

Crew one (female) was going by the ship's clock (GMT) and crew 2 (male) who was working to BST was going berserk over the time taken by crew 1 to get ready to go out to dinner.

If I'd put some some ketchup on my arm I swear he'd have bitten it off.

After that, with explanations by crew 1 of thinking she had nearly an hour to go I changed all clocks to local time. On the bright side crew 1's cabin had a wonderful scent of chanel No 5 for ages afterwards.
