I have almost a litre of glycerine left over from the early days of the Covid pandemic when we were making our own hand sanitiser.
Having no more use for it, I was thinking of using it to lubricate the Jabsco seals, instead of the tablespoon of cooking oil which I usually use.
I can't see any objections on ecological grounds but is it likely to have an adverse effect on the rubber/plastic pump seals?
