Gerber Suspension Stainless Steel Multi-Tool

Downwind Sail - Parasail ??

I am in the market for a downwind sail. Main thing is that SWMBO is nervous after interesting time with a large spinnaker whilst racing and there are usually only the two of us on board
Any views from the forum on an easy handling chute/genneker and the parasail ??

I dont know what it is made of, but mine rusted up in a couple of months and then the pliers part bust, will never get another gerber - rubbish

"Gerber Suspension Stainless Steel Multi-Tool"

Can anyone tell me what it's made of ?

No idea :D

If you click Gerber Suspension Multi-Tool
Scroll down to Technical Details
Click See more technical details. it tells you all about it. Mine both came with a belt pouch, but this was not mentioned.

I've had two of these for years, no rust, very handy. Perhaps the one in #12 was a fake? They come with a Lifetime Warranty, so you can't lose.

For 19 quid one has been duly ordered.....I'll compare it to my current favourites (Leatherman Wave and a good old fashioned Swiss Army knife)

I think it is only useful for taking boy scouts out of horses' hooves. What is the point of all those tiny scissors and other fiddly bits?

I have one in my Nav table and find it very handy when I need a tool quickly and cannot be bothered to find the proper ones. Scissors are small but handy, knife is sharp!

Made of Stainless I believe - mine is going strong after being used on the boat for years - lifetime warrantee as well I believe.

Highly recommended esp for under £20!
