It was definately closed at Whitsun Bank Holiday.
Looked terminal to me, not just closed for a refurb.
Shame really but we should have visited more often.

The George and Dragon is definitely closed long term. The MOD are looking for another licensee, but it is not the most profitable operation after all the weekend yachtsman are almost the only patrons that have free access to the island other than the residents. It's a great pity as one of the clubs I belong to often finished a race in Quay Reach and then retired to the George and Dragon. Also it was somewhere to go if anchoring for the night in Quay Reach.
