My furling genoa has a white UV strip on leach and foot. The UV strip is in good condition but has some green algae staining, particularly near the head. I blame the very damp weather and me for not taking the sail home (keep kidding myself that I'm going to do a bit of Winter sailing). In the past I have had success with Patio Magic (diluted 1:4) but this time the staining appears to be between the sail and the UV strip, I can't see how the Patio Magic is going to get onto the staining and do its job. Any suggestions please.

PS Patio Magic did a great job of removing the green from decks and cockpit a few weeks ago.

Mine got some after leaving it wrapped for four weeks last summer. I got a weely bin filled it with water and added some potion.
Laid it on grass and power washed it quite a lot came out.

Apparantly foam luffs can hold moisture and a bit tight in a northrrn climate. Mine is still stained under the white uv strip.
