Re: 240 volt sausage habit.

If you were the Yarmouth moboer who cooked his daily breakfast sausages on a 240v hob powered by a kippor 2600 thingy on the bathing platform, then you might be interested in this raggie's perspective.

At 50' it was definitely an irritant but for some reason in the context of the Old Gaffers Yarmouth atmosphere it caused me no upset last weekend. In another more peaceful harbour setting, listening to your generator at a distance of 50 feet would ratchet up my blood pressure from irritated to indignant.

As Robin says you need to review your battery capacity because with the electrical devices stated above 300-400 amp hours of capacity to see you through a 36 hour period without resorting to the generator. Fitting an amp-hour counter would be a good first step.
