General Yacht Maintenance and Shipwright in Gosport

Can anyone recommend a good general maintenance and shipwright person/persons near Gosport. Required for general maintenance (including Portlights/Darklights) and painting.

Russell Rennison is an excellent shipwright and is based in Haslar Marina, but I am not sure he does general maintenance work. You might also try Mark Dowsett whose email address is mark@marine-services-direct.co.uk.

Plus 1 for Russell but if he is too busy ask Chris at Gosport Boatyard for suggestions or at Haslar marina as they might have someone based at Deacons who could assist .

Rob Pope (Classic Marine Services) is very well regarded at Wicor Yacht Haven where he’s based, but he works elsewhere as well. There’s not much I haven’t seen him turn his hand to over the years.
