Hi All,
My boat lives alongside a quay wall during the summer and is protected by lots of fenders and a plank, but unfortunately last month during a particularly high tide, the fenders and plank rose above the wall, and as the boat fell on the tide, it was left rubbing against the wall with no protection. The damage isn’t bad, just some surface scratches and some rubbing to the rubbing strake. The boat is Westerly Konsort and before this happened it was in really good condition for its age. I’d like to get the repairs done professionally and have the hull polished at the same time, but I can’t find anyone to do the work for me. The boat is out of the water in Christchurch. It’s easily accessible in a small boatyard. Can anyone recommend someone for gelcoat and rubbing strake repairs in Christchurch please?
