Gelcoat won't cure properly if exposed to the air and remains tacky, so wax-in-styrene is added to make it into flowcoat. What if some wally forgot to add the wax? /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
How deep does the "tackiness" go? Is it possible to abrade it to a hard cured surface?
(And as an aside: if the item is kept in an oxygen-free atmosphere would that have the same effect, in terms of curing, as adding wax?)
