I have a Princess 50 MKII made in 2006. Does anyone know what the RAL number Princess were using for the Gel coat on these boats then as I want to repair areas of the Gel coat and it will be easier if I can start with the same basic colour although I know it will need changing a bit due to discolouration etc due to age of the boat.

There is an phone app you can use to colour match.
can't recall the name. someone will know on here.
Its likely changed with age depending on where you are matching......

I would have thought the obvious thing to do would be contact Princess and buy some gelcoat.

I used to have a dinghy built by Ovington, it turned out the colour was called 'old ovington white'. The boat was over ten years old but the colour match was pretty good once I'd polished the rest of it, although dinghies obviously live under covers more.

I have spoken to Princess but they said they don't keep the details of any RAL numbers before about 2011. Really surprised me but there you go, will see if I can find the phone app that Wing Mark has mentioned.

Sorry, I meant the app that Fimacca mentioned.

That's terrible.
Like 'white goods' that are not intended to be repaired after 10 years?
