Anyone know where I might get a gas strut for the lazarette on a Sealine Statesman 360 or a F36/37 I dare say they will be the same?

Not sure on sealine but on my fairline they came from brittish gas springs.

Thanks for that MBM forum does it again.
Aquafax is a wholesaler but on their web site they supply Force 4.They stock 3 sizes 460 550 700mm £10-£12.We have one at shamrock just hope one of them fit as I didn't have one to compare it to.There was not one on it when we bought it.
If any one knows the length of it that would be usefull.

I'm pretty sure you can buy direct from aquafax, I'm sure I've been to their hamble branch before and just paid cash for some bits.

Ring the number on the strut. They quote 80 quid. Walk to force 4 shamrock and pay £12.
Thats what i did for my table raising strut anyway, and they have a good range of sizes.

You can also try SGS Engineering (http://www.sgs-engineering.com/) - I obtained a replacement engine space hatch strut from them, and will be ordering a new one for my flybridge trapdoor on my MF925.
They have an enquiry form which makes things easier. You list the dimensions of your old one, along with as much extra detail you can find on it - newton rating, specifiation, manufacturer, part number, and they will come up with an equivalent.
Hope this is of use. At least you have plenty of options now!
