Hi Folks,
I am planning the installation of a Bainbridge/Plastimo Neptune 4500 cooker ,tech dept at Bainbridge confirmed gas inlet tail is 8 mm. The copper pipework on the boat is 3/8th.The plan is to use 3/8 braided stainless steel armoured pipe to connect between the existing copper pipe and the cooker. The issue is connecting the
3/8 armoured pipe to the 8 mm cooker tail. I cannot find a fitting which will directly do this, however a combination of adapters and reducing bushes will achieve a connection.
This will involve using a 10 mm compression fitting on the 3/8 pipe. I would appreciate advise as to whether this is satisfactory or where a fitting to make the connection may be available
Many thanks
Rob
