Cooker uses camping gaz cylinders (butane) and i fancy a little table top patio type heater for cockpit while sipping Bushmills finest. This uses propane. Would it be possible to use the propane cylinder for the cooker?

You will either need a propane regulator fitted to the boat system or if you want to retain the option to interchange with a Camping gas butane cylinder a 30mb regulator.

See Thiis page on the Calormarine website

You will also have to sort out what hoses/connectors are necessary and if you do not have one a Camping gas to Calor adapter for interchangeability.

It would be sensible to consult you local Calor centre to ensure you get all the correct bits and pieces.

It would be my intention to use propane only and ditch the camping gaz

[/ QUOTE ] That eliminates any complications that maintaining interchangeability will cause. Check that your appliances will be OK without modification or whether they will need different jets. Also check on the use of the 30mb regulator, that may enable you to use the appliances without modification.
