Cooker uses camping gaz cylinders (butane) and i fancy a little table top patio type heater for cockpit while sipping Bushmills finest. This uses propane. Would it be possible to use the propane cylinder for the cooker?
The experts will be along soon. I am fairly certain that they will be interchangeable. Propane will work ok in freezing conditions so I suppose would be specified for use out doors
(januarry barbie??)
Cheers
You will either need a propane regulator fitted to the boat system or if you want to retain the option to interchange with a Camping gas butane cylinder a 30mb regulator.

It would be my intention to use propane only and ditch the camping gaz
[/ QUOTE ] That eliminates any complications that maintaining interchangeability will cause. Check that your appliances will be OK without modification or whether they will need different jets. Also check on the use of the 30mb regulator, that may enable you to use the appliances without modification.
