Garmin GHP12 Autopilot System

Hi, can anyone tell me if this Garmin autopilot has a gyro built in? The Garmin website doesn't mention it, bu this is the only autopilot system that they do for sailboats.

Can anyone help?

Hi there, hope i can help as my Dad is installing a GHP 12 system on his Finnsailor i been having a look at it, In short: yes it does
You can see it on the left of the pic. ist a kinda round black thing:
