Garmin Echomap Chirp 75sv, AIS compatible?

I'm quite tempted by this chart plotter. It supports NMEA 2000, does anyone know if an AIS input will be plug and play? I'm a bit challenged re technology, would really rather not get bogged down by NMEA sentences, baud rates and the like if at all possible.

I've done the iPad and Navionics thing (and have it on my iPhone too) but would like a 'proper' chartplotter on the boat, principally for daylight viewability. Anyway, if people could resist the temptation to suggest a tablet that would be nice!

If you use NMEA2000 to feed AIS data, it will be virtually plug'n'play. Obviously you'll need an NMEA2000 compatible AIS receiver.
