Just purchased a g2 chart covering the west coast of Italy off eBay.
Any ideas please how I go about getting it to display.i am at present back in the UK and just bought a new Garmin chartplotter intended as a standby on Wildthyme when we return to the Ionian shortly. But wanting to try the card out I placed it into the plotter here in the UK and although it seemingly installs it as it lists it on start up, how can I view it as only the local area chart displays ie. the pre loaded UK waters,and the plotter believes me to be in Clevedon (which I presently am).but I wish to see the Italian waters. Will it not display until I am in those waters?
Any ideas on how to display a chart of an area when you are not actually there?
