So all you GARMIN worshippers...a little problem.
Friend has a Garmin chartplotter 4012 with a problem, it suddenly stopped displaying charts, just produces a indistinct fuzzy background map.
Receives GPS signals and card chart works in other chartplotter(s) and software updates no use either .
Very occasionally it will burst back into life on start up .
Companies around that will look at legacy Raymarine stuff but , despite advertising they fix Garmin and several phone calls nobody will look at old Garmin Chartplotters.
Suggestions welcome.
