Garmin 451 GPS Map info

Hi

How do you get the tidal diamonds to display on the chart? I can view them in one of the menu, but can't get the location on the chart.

Are you using a BlueChart g2 Vision cartridge?

If so, you can turn the tide symbols on or off in the menu, go to Charts> Navigation Chart> Menu> Chart setup> Tides/Currents

Thanks for the reply. No not using the g2 blue chart AS card just the pre loaded maps.
All the tide data is there, just no lat n long to relate to chart or symbol on the chart.

From the home page "information" "Tides and currents" I can't remember the rest but it's reasonable easy. You'll be presented a list of diamonds. You can't pan to a diamond and select it to display the info. The way the current is displayed is fairly poor which is a shame because the 451 is a great plotter
