Garmin 182c to Autopilot

Hi can someone help me to configur my garmin 182c to talk to a simrad 30 tiller autopilot

connect blue (+) and black (-) from 182 power cable to nmea inputs on autopilot. press menu twice, scroll down to "COMMS", select port 1, select nmea, (I think you press menu again to get into the nmea settings) select 4800 baud and select nmea protocol to suit a/p ...
