Vidas has twin Gardner 6LW engines built 1963 with approx 3,500 hrs use
They both start well, tick over and run beautifully under load.
The problem is that the starboard engine cuts out nearly every time you put her into gear and under load
It's a combined throttle/gear control so you can't rev it out of gear.
If you push the lever forward(or reverse) quickly and up to 1/2 throttle she'll usually keep going up it a bit a a nuisance manoeuvring in the canal .
Any suggestions as to what I can do to rectify this?
