Have they said how long it's expected for the oil to get cold enough to solidify to a point where it no longer leaks.

Actually is this not a human right's issue as well because peoples right to live has and is being denied.

The Oil is the sort destined for the power industry and not for the petrol fore courts.. its the very heavy unrefined and very toxic sort unlike the relatively light petrol and even diesel (which would break up / decompose very much more easily).. The Prestige's oil was probably destined for a power station.. for conversion to electicity.. who said Leci was clean?

It's a terrible disaster for Galicia and the rest of the world, but if you think you are going to stop the oil companies......forget it, they are too influencial in governments all over the world, including europe. They just have too much money and can tie up whole countries governments in legal proceedings for years, they have armies of grey suited lawyers to stop you doing anything. Look at the tobacco companies, how long has it taken to get them to court and they are still winning. Forget attacking oil companies, you can try governments, but please realise it will take years, many years I know, look how long greenpeace has been at it.
