Gael force mailed me about an order placed this morning for a bilge-pump part. They said they were temporarily out of stock and couldn't deliver for a couple of weeks. They realised I might need to order elsewhere. I did, and was very pleased GF got in touch so I'll go back to them for other stuff. I've been grumpily fed up with service recently so pleased when a business actually thinks about the customer.:D

+1 for Gael Force!

I found their service to be fantastic recently too. It was just a standard order but then I noticed something else I needed. I sent them a quick email and they bundled everything together to save me money on postage, no fuss, no issues, just sorted.

Service as it should be.

Thanks guys, you've made us feel all warm on a Frosty morning up here in the office! ;) We do try to keep peeps informed if there's any problems!

I'm not registered here in a 100% professional capacity, other than that not being allowed it's more out of curiousity and a personal interest in boating despite having very little experience other than having worked for two chandleries now and having a small inflatable and kayak that I go out fishing in. But it does me good to keep reading on here to learn about things relevant to the industry/sport/hobby i've ended up in!

Just remember that when I go on a rant on a thread, possibly about anchors ;) it's me ranting and not anyone I work for! :p

On the flipside, if anyone does have a bad experience with GF, and you're not getting any official response through the company, feel free to drop me an informal P/M and i'll see what I can sort out within my limited powers!
