Tried both yesterday and the £7.99 scraper removed a couple of layers much easier and quicker than the £55 sander.
Like this then, but a smaller version?Harris (brush fame) do a brilliant scraper with 4 edge blade easy to turn around/over and can be easily sharpened with a fine file. Its about 45mm wide...
Any suggestions for brands to consider?

A useful tip is to radius the ends of the blade, it will stop it digging in.

This one is good too lasts well on tough materials, only problem is that replacement blades very expensive. Sometimes worth taking off corners of blade with file.
