Furuni binoculars?

An article in Yachting Monthly (#1220, p9) refers to "Furuno binoculars with built-in compass and night vision."

Has anyone got more details of this product please?

I got a pair of these & they're superb. Even my wife was impressed!

well, the night vision ones seem a tad more expensive at £7k.

I have the Fujinon FMTR-SX's and they are really excellent. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif They come with a genuine lifetime guarantee (at least mine did) and whilst not cheap, have brilliant optics and a ruggedness that other makes must envy.

Allegedly they are tested by dropping 5 metres onto concrete, though I've decided not to check this for myself!! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

AFAIK Furuno does not make binos.
