Any one a member of the Amateur yacht research Society?
I joined at the last Earl's Court Show and receive their mags.. But haven't been able to get really involved yet... Weymouth Speed week is always on my list of things to do but I just never seem to get there... The old girl's too slow anyway!!

Yes I joined a couple of years ago. They're a delightful bunch. I've been a "scientist" all my working life and always hankered for a discipline where "nuttiness" is still a vertue. Underwater photography was one such till a few years ago - glad to see sailing has taken over.
