Furler won't unfurl.

The correct shackle, found later, clears the top of the swivel entirely...

Just back, and that's ours fixed. It was nothing jammed, but operator error fitting that cranked shackle wrong when we put the sails on a few days ago.



As you can see, the knuckles of the cranked shackle nicely press against the dimples of the top nut, stopping it rotating.

Shackle reversed



And all is well. Sail furls and unfurles as it should. There was nothing actually wrong with the swivel mechanism.

I wasn't going to mention the shackle as the photo you posted - you said was someone else furler ... (fitted wrong .. but )

Later versions I believe did away with the cranked shackle ....
