I bought two bicycles which looked identical to this but with different badging about ten years ago. We were pleased with them. They would both go in the boot of the car and didn't need racks. The chrome work seemed to turn to rust quite easily but otherwise they were perfectly suitable. Obviously not a mountain bike in any way other than styling. The seat post originally supplied was too short for me but this was easily rectified. Sold them easily on eBay after about five years use for £60 each.

These usually for £250+ on eBay, although it seems like they're cheap this time of year.

The Boston 8 is the one (now discontinued) with hub gears. I consider it the most desirable.
