Fuel tank leak

I think it's about time you told Benny what to do with their tank, design a new tank get it fabricated and put an end to the whole sorry mess. I have I missed the "independent" surveyors report, what does that say?
One thing I have learned in France is to have infinite patience....I’ve lived in tropical islands in the middle of the Pacific...I’ve lived at the end of a river in Africa... and I thought that I learned to wait and wait and wait...but infact I was just practicing for life in France...
There is no report per se, the surveyor that we saw was the legal guy in the team who is negotiating with Benny...we will make an appointment to see him next...ho hum...

That's why you haven't got the tank.

Edit
I should add why you won't get it anytime soon.

You are remarkably relaxed about this, much more than I would be, if another 12 months go by and you are still waiting to hear will you be just as relaxed?

Just get the bloomin' thing fixed. Life's short enough as it is...

There's a huge element here of "faffing around"
How old are you? - don't answer that.
Just get your tank fixed and pay for it.
Every year that you live "ticks by".
You won't get any enjoyment looking back at the last few months.
Get your boat on the water and enjoy life - whilst you still can.
I am paying for it...they already have my deposit...I know life is too short...I am just trying to be philosophical about it

No... I did think it would be finished by now...but it’s not...i haven’t given up the fight, I guess I am too used to it by now..it’s France

To complete the circle, how about taking your Tesla apart and converting your boat to electric propulsion with the bits?
Then you won't need a leaky diesel tank and this thread could run forever.

Ok..hot off the press!!! ‘Apparently’ Benny built the tank...and shipped the tank...to the wrong address ???? anyhow, it’s been tracked down and ‘apparently’ it is going to be re-sent to my boatyard....
Now you know all that I know..

No doubt big firms like Beneteau have a big specialist design department, specifically focused on designing excuses.

What's the likelihood of Benny (a) sending it to the wrong boatyard and (b) the boatyard not contacting them to say "'ere, wots this for, then" (or French equivalent thereof).

I think it more likely that the dog ate their homework.
