Fuel tank leak

I haven’t actually isolated the tank, because I couldn’t physically remove the fuel hoses (my shoulders are no longer up for it after my recent fall and I didn’t want to cut the lines.....but it’s possible I could do from the engine side...)
It needs to be done. Simply collecting fuel until it stops and putting in some more to see if it starts won't prove much. It just means the level is low enough to stop the leak (due to level or pressure differential). You still have no idea if the tank is leaking from a location that's hidden from view.

It sounds as if the hoses might have bonded to the pipes. I usually find that I can build up some light pressure with a small mole wrench and rotate the hose. You only need enough pressure to grip the hose. I thought the hoses were just retained by Jubilee type clamps. A small spanner will loosen them with negligible effort but even a screwdriver should make it an easy job.

You need a Volvo PAULo
I need local people because it’s an entire operation that requires hiring lifting equipment, operators and at least one mechanic, a new tank has to be sourced or the old one repaired, there’s a huge amount of cleaning (possibly my job) and then reversing the process.....someone has to be good at French and can organize

Why don't you just give the boat to your local (trusted) yard and tell them to fix it?

A Quick update
I went to the boat today, I pumped out the hull and found that, as usual, I am collecting half a liter of diesel fuel in the hull every day.
I have a few personal projects on the go right now but in a couple of weeks I should be free to finally get the job done.
I had hoped that it would have stopped by now and I could then top it up to test it but no such luck. In fact I would not know how to get a jerrycan of diesel but I don’t think this is going to stop until the tank is dry, so it’s all rather academic
You do realise that if you do go and get a jerry can of diesel in your Tesla, someone will think its hilarious and you will be photographed and "memed" all over social media.... :ROFLMAO:

Because the boat is already out the water, my yard has no mechanics and they have cranes but I don’t think they have any that can reach inside to the saloon. Beneteau will probably get the job but their yard is next to Toulon. And a road trip would require a lot of the boat to be disassembled because of the height. And will cost a fortune. So the people and equipment have to be brought in. But it depends on what the Beneteau people say.....I will contact them again in two weeks

Exactly!! I will end up all over the social media and probably TV ? I will probably use my electric scooter or bicycle....

Couldn't you put it back in the water and take it down the coast?

Won‘t Beny just be parts throwers and replace like for like warts n all ?
Charging a lot for it .

It needs mounting isolated from flexing , independent of hull movement.
Sight glassed .
Suitably cocked .
A sump .
A drain at the foot of said sump .
Electrically bonded .
Access for inspection as applicable .

Serious suggestion Could you have it launched and then towed down the coast to the yard. that's what would happen it you had a major breakdown at sea.
I never thought of that, but I don’t know of any tow service. At the end of the day, if Beneteau want the boat in their own yard then I hope they will provide a solution
