Fuel Hose ID ?

Can anyone advise the standard internal diameter of the fuel feed hose to a VP 2030c?

I am wanting to upgrade the primary filter (to Racor) and want to ensure that I get the correct hose fittings.

For what it's worth...

I replaced the hoses on my MD2040 last year. The fitting on the engine was 8mm.

The hose I took off was a 10mm and it had been really compressed by the jubilee clip to make it fit. I replaced all hoses with 8mm to match the engine fitting.

How strange...
If you hover over the 'Fits' icon in that 3/8" hose in the previous link it mentions 2030D and 2040A but I didn't see either your engine or mine in the list.

Looking at marinepartseurope there are exploded diagrams

It looks like the nipple that the hose connects to is common to the 2030C and my 2040B

I have just re-read why you wanted to know the hose size! (Perhaps that is what you added)

As it happens I replaced my primary filter (a Separ) with a Racor this weekend. There seemed to be a lot of choice in Racor but I went for the R120AP in the end.
With it I bought a couple of 'brass male hosetail' fittings that were 1/2"NPT - 8mm.

I bought from Hyphose but an example of the filter is shown below...

I would be interested to know your choice of Racor (to know if I went for the right one).

ID is 8mm on my fuel hose.
