Good evening collective knowledge,

I am trying to obtain a replacement fuel filler pipe to replace the one on my boat as it is deemed by the BSS bods not to comply with the requirements for use in inland waterways!!!!!
The boat was built in 2002 in UK for UK use and is Cat C but the fuel filler hose does not have any markings on it.

It is going to be a bu**er to get out and replace but I need to get one asap so I can do the deed in about ten days time ready for spring bank holiday ( if it is fine????)

Any ideas for online suppliers

Bob

Do a Google search for Hose + "BS EN ISO 7840" and you will find it.

ASAP as suggested have it.

If boat built 2002 then the hose used should comply, I would question this with your examiner because as long as the pipe can be inspected to confirm its condition then there is no reason not to pass it.

BW are a set of fruit cakes. Write BS EN ISO 7840 on it, job done.

Now when I had my boat I'd never have DREAMED of doing such a thing. whistle, whistle, whistle

Nice little sticky label printed off the 'puter and stuck on the pipe would be the wrong thing to do if course.

Fuel hose

Try giving Simon at Selby boat centre a ring, He stocks or will get you virtualy anything to do with BSS, He's also a great source of tech info, a nice guy and reasonable prices too.
Use him for most of my gear and highly recommend him
