Anyone know the expected fuel consumption of a sealine F43 with twin Volvo 430hp and how many hours one can expect out of a full tank at an average say of 20 knots

SteveE reckoned about 1.2mpg at cruise. It depends what speed you run at, as we discovered over three seasons. Our most economical cruising speed is about 23-24 knots or 3500rpm (your rpms will be lower, of course). I'd bank on around 8-9 hours running at maybe 20 knots if you leave a sensible safety margin.

I have the "63P" engines (370HP) on our F43 and on a recent trip to Guernsey, Jersey, and the northern French coast along to L'AberWac'h and then directly back across to Plymouth, we averaged about 1GPM, cruising at 2,350 RPM (about 20Kts).

We ran up just over 30 hours on the whole trip.

We have rope cutters / strippers fitted, which must affect the consumption to a slight degree and reduces max speed by about 1Kt (well worth it for the peace of mind!). We were well loaded with kit but there was only myself and SWMBO onboard.

I have the Navman fuel sensors fitted which give me a constant reading of fuel flow / range / GPH etc.

When filling the tanks, the difference in the capacities was only about 5 to 10 Lts difference, so the engines must have been running pretty much the same.

They never missed a beat, and although the last long run from L'AberWac'h to Plymouth was scary with 120 miles to cover in one go, the boat has met and exceeded all our expectations!

The consumption of the 430s may be a little more, but I wouldn't have though enough to be of any consequence. You should be able to cruise a little faster as well.
