Thought I'd have a look to see what was going on - look what I came across!

Thought HAPPY1 might like to get some practice in.

Trudie this site was recommended on here a few weeks back, have wasted hours trying to safely dock my boat, no tyet succeeded!! Far easier on a real boat, even my single engined non bow thruster craft /forums/images/icons/smile.gif Shame the chap in the same gap between the pontoons has gone, now tend to berth diagonally between both, very elegant, could set a new trend!!

Sorry for posting again - must have been on holiday and missed it.
Lucky your not in Brighton Marina, they would charge you for using two moorings.

Ah well that's the problem, usually on a swinging mooring, much easier!

Try not to stay on 2 pontoons, spose it would still count as a short stay charge? /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

I tried that on scuttlebucket but could not load the java, any ideas, I will need some mooring practice. I have got 10mtr for my 6.1mtr to give me extra parking space, but still thik I would like some extra practice.

Cheers,

Happy1, read the Sunk post & take heed. This is what you should now be concentrating your efforts on.IMHO
Also add this to your collection and take up the 2 books offer & one of the other ones too. These books cannot be purchased in the Uk. Others may know of UK ones you can buy, but I've come across none as good as these. Also an Inland Waterways Helmsmans course using your own boat should quickly help you to master most docking situations.
