From Dartmouth to La Trinite... Can you spot the errors?

Since you actually request criticism.. I know there wasn't much wind, but why didn't you get some sails up straight away, in case the engine stopped going down the Dart? It almost looks like you still have the covers on the sails,
( but they may just be sitting in lazy bags?).

I presume getting through the Raz 'just as the tide was turning' was deliberate, to catch the E-going flood along the S Brittany coast? (I don't know where La Trinite is).

Because I don't recall it needing a whole tide, maybe my memory is at fault.

Cracking boat and film thanks.

Lovely film, thanks.

She is a lovely boat, about 20 years back when I bought my first wooden boat, a good chum of mine, a signwriter, worked as a yacht painter at Moody's as was, he had a sideline in looking after the brightwork on Talisker Mhor, kept him busy! He used to work on Talisker Mhor on a Saturday morning, then come help me with the paint on mine. Taught me to paint a boat he did.

He still signwrites my transoms now,

I thought that was a Fairey, and google makes me right.. what an absolute beauty! :encouragement:

A real pleasure for me that you shared that.

I would, however, also have run up a Breton courtesy pennant. There's them down there wot likes that.....

That's one of the things I thought would be spotted... All the drone shots were actually taken in Camaret, I just thought it would be nice to show an aerial clip early on and make it seem like it was taken on the way down the Dart. I'vd had a word with the continuity department... We should have lowered the flag for one of the clips and then nobody would've needed to know!
