From Dartmouth to La Trinite... Can you spot the errors?

Hurrah, the best yet.

Just the correct 2% DCR, which the American Guild of Cinematographers define as the maximum amount of drone footage allowable before it becomes a 'Pain in the Ass.

1973?

Several errors:-

1. bloke with a video camera annoying the crew rather than pulling his weight.

2. No sign of Fray Bentos victualling.

3. No sign of biscuits or cakes with the coffee

4. Green line lying along the port side foredeck.

5. French music

6. French tricolour courtesy flag

Otherwise, lovely boat and lovely film :)

Thanks Doug. I totally agree about drone shots. They can so easily be overdone!

She was indeed built in 1973. Not a typical 70's design, but 70's none the less.

Yes, absolutely! I'm sure they've considered throwing it overboard...

Very good, but why were you flying the courtesy flag before leaving Dartmouth?

That's one of the things I thought would be spotted... All the drone shots were actually taken in Camaret, I just thought it would be nice to show an aerial clip early on and make it seem like it was taken on the way down the Dart. I'vd had a word with the continuity department... We should have lowered the flag for one of the clips and then nobody would've needed to know!

Lovely film, thanks.

She is a lovely boat, about 20 years back when I bought my first wooden boat, a good chum of mine, a signwriter, worked as a yacht painter at Moody's as was, he had a sideline in looking after the brightwork on Talisker Mhor, kept him busy! He used to work on Talisker Mhor on a Saturday morning, then come help me with the paint on mine. Taught me to paint a boat he did.

He still signwrites my transoms now,
