The helensburgh lifeboat wisnae launched to rescue sailors tho'; some eejit drove his motor into the harbour at Greenock, or so I'm told. They had to attend incase the body drifted free of the car as it was craned out. He did well to get a Nissan Sunny 20 metres from the quayside though....... Evel Knievel eat your heart out.

SWMBO was born on Friday 13th.
Friday was the day she put in a bid for a house, under this quaint Scottish sealed bid closing day system, and she got it. I guess I am the unlucky one cos the "brass" has to come out of the savings account!!!
