... bloody awful. I wasn't looking forward to it but took solace in the fact that my friend invited me round for a naughty girly night. Arrived at 20:40 and was on the phone to MrB at 10:10 begging him to pick me up.

It was dreadful. I was stuck with the women from hell (apart from my friend who invited me, she was just just as pissed off but unfortunately had to stay). The topics of conversation were:

1. Curtain making
2. Babies
3. Safeways
4. Babies
5. Coronation Street
6. Babies
7. Lipsuction (nearest they got to talking about BJs all night)
8. Curtain making (again) - followed by more baby talk

They made the Stepford Wives look positively animated !!

We had great fun calling Mr B and rubbing in the fact we were on the boat. Your phone must be verry expensive to run because he only replied using 4-6 letter words then hung up. Still he made up for it on Saturday night. Kept me up till 2:30 drinking MY beer. Next time you punish him I'm locking the boat up and going to bed. It could save me a fortune.

Sounds like a delightful evening with Ladies that care. Your problem Pauline is the same my fuhrer's. When we first came to the village a sweet old lady knocked on the door and asked her if she wanted to join the Womens Institute. My Eileen wanted to smash her face in. 10 minutes later a 'bird' knocked on our door to ask if my son wanted to join the church Bell Ringers, he offered to ring her bell for her. No one called for me but people avoid me anyway so that's not unusual ;-)
