This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally. No one else will know, so you won't be fooling anyone but yourself if you give anything but a truthful answer.

The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision. Remember, your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous. Please read slowly and thoughtfully, giving due consideration to each line.

Here's the situation:

You are in Louisiana; New Orleans to be specific. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of Biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster.

The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water. Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury.
Suddenly you see a man floundering in the water. He is fighting for his life,
trying not to be taken down with the debris.

You move closer...somehow the man looks familiar. You suddenly realize
who it is. It's George W. Bush, President of the United States!!
At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him
under...forever.
You have two options - you can save the life of G.W.Bush, or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful men.

So here's the question, and please give an honest answer:

Would you select high-contrast color film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white?

That is discraceful!

How dare you!!!!!

You havent even considered digital photography!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please move this to the lounge, it has only tenuous links to boating, I come here to only talk about boats you know. Young lady, boats are no laughing matter, either take it seriously or you will die.......

Oh God, shoot me now, please someone, shoot me......

Screens, please nurse!!

I think this dog is suffering from postcode overload. I prescribe a series of ColRegs debates immediately.

Eminently boaty. Covers, inter alia: MOB procedure, visibility of crew members in the water, most effective photographic equipment to use in a marine environment, and what to do about the increasing problems caused by turds floating around in the water /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif.

[ QUOTE ]
It is still Thursday , isn't it?????

[/ QUOTE ] That's what the UN may be saying, but a special dossier compiled by MI5 shows quite clearly that it is, in fact, Friday or perhaps erm Thursday, or whatever day you want it to be, really.

Always shoot in colour. More sales that way. Digital is the only way to go nowadays. If you have the facility to record a bit of digital video (non slr cameras) you may capture his last words like......""It's a time of sorrow and sadness when we lose a loss of life."

Choose your own /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Apologies to the emminent posters on this site.
Yes it is Thursday and having a 'moment' wishing the day away as I'm out sailing for a week tomorrow FRIDAY.

Skipswoofy who's taken your bone away then? but thanks for the 'young lady' bit made this boring Thursday a happier one.

Grovelling over
