French Yacht Designers

I am trying to locate info about a French yacht designer name of Moret (believed Andre), Americas Cup designer, would be about 90 yo now if alive. I believe he also designed my cruising boat built at Chantiers des Ardennes, Marseilles, circa 1981. Info/URLs very welcome. Thanks in advance.

Might you be thinking of Andre Mauric? He designed seversal of the early Beneteau Firsts including the First 30 in 1977. He designed the first Pen Duick for Eric Tabarly. I am not sure of his involvement with the America's Cup though he could well have been associated with the 1992 challenge which was built by Beneteau.
